With any renovation or addition, our goal is to make sure one is not able to discern what is new from the original home. If you love where you live and have outgrown your existing home, consider a renovation or addition. Avoid the house hunting process and costly real estate commissions and fees.

Cherry Street – This original Cherry Street home was built in the early 1800s in the historic city of Falls Church, Virginia. We removed a section of the rear that was added in the 1940s, to add 3,600 square-feet. Exterior brackets were special ordered from an antique catalog of reproductions. Interior moldings were milled to match the existing trim work. Additionally, we salvaged aged wavy glass to reconstruct some of the windows from the original home. EMW Properties served the homeowner throughout the entire building process including interactions with the historical committee and architectural review committee.
